Japanese companies CHOCOLATE Inc. and Kassen Inc., VFX studio WACHAJACK, and concept artist group STUDIO DOTOU have joined forces to create a new animation studio that’s all about pushing boundaries and making waves in the industry. And to make it even more exciting, they’ve just announced a business partnership with Pony Canyon Inc.!

STUDIO DOTOU aims to create animation works that will be loved by fans all over the world, and they’re starting with their first original anime film, KILLTUBE. Directed by Kazuaki Kuribayashi, the 90-minute film is set for a worldwide release in spring 2026.

So, what’s the story behind KILLTUBE? According to CHOCOLATE Inc., the film is part of their “108 Experiments” initiative, which aims to develop new ways to create, present, and monetize original stories. The company is targeting a global release and is working closely with Pony Canyon to make it happen.
