The 38th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine will resume the highly anticipated Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s Blue Lock manga on August 28, following a brief hiatus due to Nomura’s sudden illness. You know the drill – grab a snack, get comfy, and gear up for the next intense match!

But fear not, fans! In the meantime, Weekly Shōnen Magazine published a special treat – the latest chapter of Kōta Sannomiya‘s BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- spinoff manga!

Kodansha USA Publishing is not letting up on the action, releasing the original BLUELOCK manga in English digitally and in print! What’s the story all about?

After a crushing defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team is on the mend. But what’s missing? An unstoppable Ace Striker, who can take the lead and bring home the win. Will someone emerge to lead the team…and can they conquer everyone in their path?

Kaneshiro and Nomura launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2018. Kodansha published the manga’s 30th compiled book volume on August 16.

You’ve been waiting patiently… but the Blue Lock television anime isn’t slowing down! The show premiered in Japan in October 2022 and you can still catch up on all the action. The anime will continue with a second season, and get this – an anime film adaptation of Kōta Sannomiya‘s BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- spinoff manga! The film opened in Japan on April 19 and quickly gained traction, selling 337,000 tickets and earning 463 million yen in just three days!
