Ao no Exorcist: Second Cour ‘Yosuga-hen’ Airs in January 2025
Ao no Exorcist Fans, Get Ready for a Blue Night!The excitement is building! At Anime Expo 2024, the Ao no Exorcist panel announced a second cour for its fourth season, titled Ao no Exorcist: Yosuga-hen (Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga). And, to make it even sweeter, a second teaser promo and key visual (check it out below!) were revealed. Mark your calendars for January 2025, when the second cour premieres!
Produced by Studio VOLN, the third season has been making waves since its January 7 debut. Crunchyroll has been simulcasting the season with subtitles, and an English dub is also available. And, get this – the fourth season is set to premiere in October 2024!
This action-packed anime series is based on Kazue Katou’s hit manga, which first appeared in Jump SQ. in April 2009. With 31 volumes under its belt, the manga continues to thrill fans worldwide. And, with VIZ Media’s English license, fans can get their hands on the latest volumes.
But that’s not all! The Ao no Exorcist Movie side story anime movie premiered in Japan in December 2012, and the Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen sequel television anime aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2017. And, if you’re a fan of OVAs, you’re in luck – the 19th and 20th volumes each bundled an original video anime episode in April and October 2017.
