Anime Streams “I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History” Character Video for Duke Seeker
Get ready for a twisted tale of villainous proportions! The upcoming anime adaptation of light novel series I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History has released a new character promotional video – and it’s packed with drama! Our protagonist, Duke Seeker, is voiced by none other than Kaito Ishikawa.
But that’s not all – the anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX channel on October 1, and marks the 3rd anime adaption by Maho Film, after their successful stints with By the Grace of the Gods and In the Land of Leadale.
yūji yanase is at the helm, with Sawako Hirabayashi serving as scriptwriter, and character designer duo yuko watabe and eri kojima taking charge of Alicia’s design! The music for the anime is also being handled by none other than moe hyuga, known for their work on steins gate 0 and The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten.!
When Alicia gets reincarnated as a villainess in her favorite otome games, she vows to become the world’s most evil villainess in history, but things get complicated when the prince falls for her!
Kadokawa has been supportive of this project, having launched it on Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) in 2018. Volume 6 is even set for release in Japan on March 15.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Jyun Hayase, has sold over 850,000 copies worldwide – quite the milestone!
